Required Training - This training is considered minimum basic knowledge and is required.
        S-130    Basic Wildland Firefighting
        S-190    Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior

 

Recommended Training - This training is good knowledge for any Wildland Firefighter and is strongly recommended.
        I-100      Introduction to ICS
        S-290    Intermediate Wildland Fire Behavior

 

Other Training - These courses are good knowledge for any Wildland Firefighter and some may be required if wish to specialize in any way.
        P-150    Wildfire Origin and Cause Determination
        S-132    Standards for Survival
        S-200    Initial Attack Incident Commander Type 4 (ICT-4)

        S-211    Portable Pumps and Water Use
        S-212    Power Saws (Sawyer) - Additional safety equipment required for this class.
        S-230    Single Resource Boss - Crew Boss
        S-260    Interagency Incident Business Management
        S-270    Basic Air Operations
        I-300      Intermediate ICS
        P-301    Wildland Fire Prevention Planning
        S-131    Advanced Firefighting Training
        S-201    Basic Fire Supervision
        S-215    Fire Operations in the Urban Interface
        S-231    Single Resource Boss - Engine Boss
        S-261    Advanced Incident Business Management
        S-281    Supervisory Concepts & Techniques
        S-390    Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior Calculations
