WELCOME

       Welcome to the cyber space home of the Weiser Forest Fire Wardens Association.  This site has been created for the dedicated individuals who give of themselves so selflessly to protect our forests from the ravages of wildfires.  Long hours of hard work in some of the toughest conditions and lets not forget that a backpack tank is never empty going UP-hill.  This site is for you, the Forest Fire Wardens and Crews of the Weiser State Forest.  Use the links at the left to navigate this site.

Fire Danger shown above is representative of the highest Fire Danger in Weiser State Forest District 18.  Fire Danger in your area could be slightly more or less.

Fire danger updates will resume in October unless drought conditions develop.

As the whole of Forest District 18 is now sufficiently green, Fire Danger updates will resume in October unless drought conditions should develop.  Even though area vegetation has greened up, Fire Danger may still fluctuate slightly; common sense precautions are still necessary to prevent fires from escaping into the forest.

Remember, only YOU can prevent Wildfires!
